I am sure you know how to read, after all you are reading this article. But just how long will it take you to read this short article. 2 minutes, 5 minutes, longer. Twenty bucks, and 11 minutes of your time will change your life in ways you never imagined, just by reading. You read this right. In just 11 minutes, you will hear about Dr. Polmar\’s story, and learn 3 secrets to improving your life through …. Reading.

Smart people already know what I am talking about – learning how to use your brain properly so that what you read becomes usable data, and knowledge to help you create greater success in life.

Really, the more you read of a similar subject, the faster you read that subject. The faster you read the subject that you are familiar with, the more that it becomes a part of your long-term memory. That\’s why when you first study basic primary school math, and you follow it and study smart, and go all the way through college – math is a thing that you become accustomed to. If you\’ve studied really smart, it\’s really easy, and you can do some of it in your head without calculator or paper and pen.

It\’s also the same with reading, yet different. Imagine it this way – you\’ll learn in 11 minutes how to read all kinds of materials more rapidly with greater comprehension than before, and get what you need out of it. Of course, it a beginners course, but in 11 minutes your increased your reading speed say 60-80% and as you use the techniques over the next few days the speed increase, and so does your understanding and comprehension.

You\’ve spent $20 and studied for 11 minutes and accomplished a great deal. But, what if you learned also, how to read a book for best understanding and comprehension for test-taking or pleasure, and what if you also learn to write a paper for school, or grad school – without stress in 10 days or less, would that make your life easier.

In 11 minutes flat, you will improve the quality of your life for 20 bucks, you really can\’t lose. Remember also, the more you read, the better you read, the more you remember – that\’s how the brain works. So work your brain.

Read Faster in 11 minutes. Guaranteed! Read Faster in 11 minutes33 years experience teaching people worldwide to DOUBLE READING SPEED! A known authority offers you his secrets to Read Faster in 11 minutes.Read Faster in 11 minutesSee results immediately!

Remember when television sets were huge and had little screens? I had one of those big wooden ones with the dial to change the channel. It was great. Times are changing fast and technology is always improving. HD tv’s and 300 plus channel subscriptions are not unfamiliar now. I made the decision to quit television. It was time to give it up.

While I was fine quitting, my girlfriend had a harder time adjusting. Her addiction to MTV’s fake “reality” shows took a toll on her. She was now watching them online. While she argues that I spend hours on the computer, I defend it saying that it is better than tv since I can choose what to read and watch. I like having the control and I like learning about different topics since quitting television.

This influx of knowledge has resulted in my quitting fast foods, videogames, and Microsoft Windows! I’m eating healthier after watching “Supersize Me.” That’s a great documentary BTW. I quit World of Warcraft (pure poison!). And I’m using Ubuntu as my primary operating system. I also learned a good deal about electricity when I built my electric bicycle. Learned that online also.

The internet has gotten me into politics. It’s inevitable. When you learn how things work, you wonder why things suck so much. I won’t get into that too much here. That’s subject for another hub. I can see how the evils want to control the internet. Learning so much online and increasing my productivity had brought up some questions that I have to ask. Why is it that every year, there is a threat on net neutrality? Why do politicians use safety as an excuse for censorship? Why is there always a boogieman to fight?

Did you know that television can hypnotize you? They emit these “alpha waves” that move up and down the screen at different intervals. You can’t see them with the naked eye. You can only see them with the help of a video camera recording it. Very interesting.

They say these alpha waves move faster during key events like commercials and such. Maybe they are trying to hypnotize us more to make us consumer zombies. It’s definitely interesting to think about. I guess that’s why we get sudden cravings for certain foods that we just saw on tv. It could be subliminal or both.

While watching tv, the time just flies by! Minutes turn into hours and hours turn into days. Next thing you know, a season is over and all you’ve been doing is watching the tube. It really is useless. Getting some fresh air and quitting tv is the best thing I’ve ever done. I’ve freed my mind a little more. No longer am I a consumer bot. Maybe you should quit too. I’m sure it would help you.

by Stephanie Adamsen

Even if you wake up feeling great, there is no end to all the things that can bring you down during the course of the day: watching the news, getting stuck in a downpour, paper cuts, knocking over a cup of coffee on your white pants, parking tickets, surly people – the list goes on. Here are my favorite ways to feel better when it seems that the world is out to get you.

1. Find the positive in the situation. I know it can be hard, but there is usually some little morsel of goodness that can be found. The parking ticket was at least only $25, the surly waiter is probably having an even worse day than you are, those pants were getting worn out anyway you get the idea.

2. Think of all the things you have to be thankful for. Your family, pet, job, home, health, food and water, friends, upcoming vacation, great memories.

3. Laugh. I read somewhere that if someone cuts you off in traffic, instead of getting mad, start laughing out loud instead. You’ll feel ridiculous at first, but that makes you laugh for real, and it actually helps. Every time your first response is anger, try to replace it with a laugh.

4. Expect a positive outcome. If you go into any situation expecting it to be a positive experience that ends well, chances are it will be. I always expect a great parking spot to open up as I pull into my grocery store’s constantly packed lot, and it almost always does.

5. Stock up on funny sayings, clips and quotes. I collect favorite quotes all the time and when I need a pick-me-up, I read through them. Some that never fail to put a smile of my face are quotes from Homer Simpson, Seinfeld and Woody Allen.

6. Do an inverted yoga pose. Getting into an upside down position is not only great for the entire body; it can also boost your mood. And don’t be intimidated if you’re not a regular yoga practitioner – you don’t have to go all out and do a head stand right away. Try one of the easier poses, like Legs Up the Wall.

7. Stop and smell the roses. If you spend all day every day rushing around trying to get everything on your to-do list done and never take a second to stop, you not only miss out on short blissful moments, you can also be weakening your immune system. If it’s a nice sunny day, stop to look at the bright blue sky and feel the sun on your skin. Sit down and have a quality cuddle with your pet. Wander around your (or a friend’s) garden and let nature wow you. Just 5 minutes of stillness and just being can make a world of difference.

We all face different challenges every single day, and life is not easy, but if you try to maintain a positive outlook and avoid dwelling on wrongdoings and “what could have beens”, you’ll live a much happier, and healthier, life.
